Ok, so I have a huge desire to start my own business...?

...but I just can't find my motivation. I think it might be a lack of confidence. I'm almost 30 and I have a good job right now. I have a child to support and that's what scares me the most. I know that I would be happier if I worked for myself, but what if I fail and end up in poverty? Anyway, I really want to be a personal chef and I know that there is a market in the area I live in. I would need to be certified and take some training on how to operate the business, etc. I just can't seem to take the leap....?
