Professional References?

I'm filling out an application for a job and it is under ';Professional References'; can i put anyone? under it it says ';please give the names of two persons who have known you for two years or more, and whom we may contact. (Do Not include relatives.) There was a previous page for employers and about contacting them. It also says ';working relationship';. can anyone help me?
