Police, i have an important question.?

I plan on becoming a police officer in California. In my high school years, I have smoked marijuana, taken magic mushrooms once, and have taken prescription painkillers who were prescribed to my family members. I have no criminal record what so ever, and will not take any drugs ever again. Can i still be an officer?
